Payments & Insurance
Monarch offers a variety of services at differing costs. We also offer a 50% discount for the initial LENS Brain Map for First Responders, Medical Providers (Nurses & Doctors), and Veterans with a valid ID after intake. Discounts for immediate families with minors: Inquire with provider for details
Insurance
We are committed to making services as accessible and affordable as possible. Here's how we work with insurance:
- Cigna is accepted for LENS Neurofeedback services only, when medical necessity criteria are met
- We accept all major insurance plans for Bariatric Psychological Evaluations including Colorado Medicaid, and we accept HSA/FSA payments.
- In many cases, we can bill insurance directly on your behalf.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If your insurance is not in-network, you may use out-of-network benefits or choose self-pay. We parther with Mentaya, which can submit out-of-network claims on your behalf for a small fee, saving you time and increasing the chances of reimbursement.
We recommend confirming your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider before starting services.

Frequently Asked Questions
Monarch Counseling accepts out of network benefits and does not bill insurance directly, but that doesn't mean that you cannot use your insurance to pay for Neurofeedback. We require payment at the time of service, and in turn can provide you with a superbill with charges and diagnostic codes to send your insurance for potential reimbursement.
If you plan on using insurance to pay for your Neurofeedback, you must have a diagnosis that meets your insurance's criteria for covering Neurofeedback. Each insurance is different, so before you get started, make sure you understand the requirements and diagnosis they approve.

Neurofeedback sessions cost $120 per session, usually with weekly sessions lasting between 9-15 weeks. There is a non-refundable $200 intake session and setup fee due on your first appointment. Each session is paid at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
Once you become a client of Monarch, you will meet with our LPC-S for a 1 hour intake session, where we will go over symptoms, goals, and do an initial brain-mapping to set a benchmark on your current status and perform your first targeted treatment.
Neurofeedback sessions, each under 20 minutes, offer a personalized path to optimized brain function. During each session, your technician will fine-tune these signals, guiding your brain towards optimal performance.
Our primary services include LENS Neurofeedback, Veterans Mental Health Assessments, Nexus Letters, Bariatric Psychological Evaluations, and Counseling services.
Monarch is not currently accepting any new therapy clients at this time.
